The SCB-7 Smoke Control Board provides the Input-Output control tables for the Fire Smoke Control System (FSCS). Its main function is to monitor the system for alarms and to activate the appropriate fans and dampers within the FSCS. Each SCB-7 has the ability to control eight separate Smoke Control groups with the LSN-2000 system. Each Smoke Control group can contain up to 99 smoke zones. The SCB-7 is intelligent to prevent smoke zones from activating when another smoke zone in that same group is already activated. The SCB-7 Smoke Control Board also provides a Real Time Clock to allow users to program test timers for any smoke zone as required. When used in a graphical Fire Smoke Control System, the SCB-7 Smoke Control Board provides outputs for a Common Alarm LED, Common Trouble LED, Audio Sounder and inputs for Acknowledge and Enable switches.
